Ship's speed and consumption analysis is a vital process for understanding and optimizing a vessel's fuel efficiency and operational performance.

HOW SPEED AND CONSUMPTION WORKS?

  • We analyse the logbooks, weather routing or Master’s daily reports and extract the daily wind, sea and current conditions during each voyage and then calculate the distance/time steamed and weather/current factors. 'Good Weather' periods, as defined by the charterparty, are calculated and used as the basis for any time/fuel saving or loss.
